Had braces before?

If so, you may notice what looks like “brace glue” left behind on your teeth.

Will brightening remove this? No.

If you think you have this, we advise you visit your dentist before booking your brightening treatment.

If you are unsure about this, drop us a message.

If we lift with the glue still intact, this will give you uneven results.

Fluorosis

What is it? Small patches of white on your teeth.

Why is it there? It’s due to changes in your tooth enamel. It forms in us as children when we consume fluoride, which is in toothpaste and unfiltered water.

This is quite common in people born in the 90s and before.

When brightening teeth with fluorosis, for the first 24-48 hours these spots may seem more prominent, then they will fade down into a more even tooth tone.

Can I drink coffee or Coke again? 

Yes!! 

After 24 hours you can drink (and eat) whatever you want but for the 1st 24hours it is critial you stay away from anything staining (if it would stain a white top… dont have it) as the product continues to work its magic of brightening within these post 24 hours of your treatment.

We do advise where you can with dark liquids, to drink with a straw at all times to save teeth from staining at anytime.

Smoking Stains

Will it lift my stains? Yes.. 

Our product will lift the stains left on your teeth over time from smoking.

Although you will see visible results from your first treatment, depending on your staining from smoking, it can take upto 3 treatments to achieve desired results as Tar is seriously strong stuff and like to attach itself to teeth. 

For those who are active smokers, your staining may come back quicker. We advise to have an intense treatment once a year, followed by a maintance treatment every 3 months to keep on top of stain free teeth.  

How often do I need this done? 

This is completely dependant on your teeth and life style.

Some clients need more regular treatments, whereas, some clients may only need a top up once or twice a year.

Are my teeth too stained? 

Simple answer – No.

We can always improve the shade and brightness of your teeth. 

We can make personalised plans for those with deeply stained teeth.

How long does it last? 

Non smokers can see results last between 6 to 8 months

Active smokers will have results that last 3 to 6 months depending on their intake.

Where do I start? 

If youve never had a lightening or brightening professional treatment done before, we recommend starting with our Luxe Smile, which will boost your teeth into being pearly beauties. 

If you have had previous professional treatments to lighten or brighten in the past 6-8 months we recommend the Luxe Glow.

How does it work? 

We use a paste which is made of Sodium  on your tooths surface. 

This is then activated by a LED light which is directed straight onto your teeth. 

The Gel activates under the LED light, opening your tooths pours, targeting the discoloured molecals and breaking them down to allow the tooths surface to lighten.

Aftercare

12 hours after treatments

Do not brush your teeth

24 hours after treatment

Do not eat or drink anything staining (if it would stain a white top, stay away) 

You may have senstivity during this time towards hot and cold. This will fade. 

Avoid smoking, the tar will restain your teeth and ruin your results. Vaping is fine. 

For 24hours, think of your teeth like a white sponge.

Does the treatment hurt? 

No, the treatment is pain free, with acception to some finding the mouth guard slightly uncomfortable.

Will my teeth hurt after?

For 24hours after your treatment you may experence some sensitivity to hot and cold foods and liquids, this wont last and will fade. Some have experienced shooting pains/sensations in the teeth. This is normal and will subside after 24hours.

False teeth, bridges, veneers, crowns

Not a problem. 

These will brighten too, BUT only to the maximum of their original shade at installation. We cannot brighten their orginial colour.
